Este estudio propone sustituir gas natural por biometano y capturar CO₂ en plantas de hidrógeno en España. Una sustitución parcial logra hidrógeno casi neutro en carbono con bajo coste, reduciendo a la mitad el biometano y la infraestructura de almacenamiento.

This study explores replacing natural gas with biomethane and using CO₂ capture in Spanish hydrogen plants. A partial switch cuts emissions at low cost, making hydrogen nearly carbon-neutral while halving biomethane needs and storage infrastructure.
